Hey, I'm Nic

Women's Specialist Personal Trainer

I'm a qualified Certified Practicing Accountant who decided to shake things up and become a Women's gym owner and personal trainer, carving out a unique, hybrid (Accountant + PT) career now since 2014.

I've always felt like my love of fun, laughter and being creative was squashed by the corporate environment. However, I've been lucky enough to have found my creative outlet through the fitness industry, so I make sure I always bring the fun.

​

I love the outdoors and am lucky enough to have spent an amazing childhood out there enjoying it.

​

Spending time outdoors, having an outlet for my creativity and ensuring people experience laughter and fun in their days is what's kept me inspired. I want to share that positive feeling and the gift of good health with as many people as I can.

I'm excited for you to join me for most fun fitness challenge, where you'll move more and be inspired to get outdoors!

How The Challenge Is Run

The Step Into Spring Movement Challenge is run four week in a virtual format.  

It consists of the following via our private Facebook group;

  • Are there any discounts?
    Yes. Members receive $20 off the challenge entry price. Non-members have the option of joining the challenge and adding 4 weeks of sessions receiving 10% off usual session pricing.
  • What do I need to do each week?
    Record your daily steps, complete the location and bonus tasks and simply submit a high-level summary of this on a Sunday prior to 2pm each week. Some location tasks may require the occasional Facebook (FB) group post / picture for accountability and community purposes, otherwise general participant FB involvement is encouraged but not required.
  • Are there prizes?
    Yes. there is a challenge winner prize. This is revealed during the challenge and is always made up of fantastic goodies and/or vouchers from local businesses.
  • When is the sign up cut off date?
    Challengers will be able to sign up for the challenge until 5pm Friday 29th September.
  • When are the group hikes?
    Sunday 8th and 22nd October at 9am. The locations will be local to the Yarra Valley and announced in the closed challenger group.
  • What if I don't live in Victoria?
    That's ok, you can complete this challenge from anywhere. You won't be able to attend the in-person hikes but will be set an alternative task to still be able to receive the challenge points.
  • What if I can't complete a challenge task / number of steps?
    That's totally fine. Of course, the more steps done and tasks completed, the more points you'll collect throughout the challenge. There are multiple ways to collect points and tasks set each week cover fitness, nutrition, mindset and fun with differing levels of required involvement and are designed specifically so that even challengers having a busy week are able to still achieve tasks and therefore points.
  • Do I need anything to participate in this challenge?
    Facebook and a device that records your step count i.e. watch, phone, pedometer. The challenge is otherwise designed so that anyone, anywhere can participate. If a challenge task needs to be tweaked to accommodate things like allergies or your location for example these are worked through directly with participants to ensure they can still complete challenges safely and fairly.
  • How do I participate in the challenge?
    Once you've signed up via the form link provided you'll receive an email including a link or invite to the challenge Facebook group where all further relevant information will be made available.
  • When does the challenge start?
    The challenge starts Monday 2nd October, with challenger briefing and information provided on the Sunday prior. The challenge goes for 4 weeks, with winner announcement 5pm Sunday 29th October.
